Antar Machado is a Chilean Documentary Filmmaker and Photographer. Focused mainly on issues of cultural and natural heritage of Chile and mountaineering expeditions.
 In his works, he seeks intimacy and direct contact with the viewer when telling a story, putting the reality of the subject he narrates at the forefront, whether it's mountain expeditions, indigenous communities, or environmental conflicts. He is a professional climber, passionate about skiing and mountaineering, so he is constantly seeking to bridge these two worlds through documentary filmmaking, thus creating a unique atmosphere between sports and documentary narrative.

Antar Machado es un documentalista y creador audiovisual chileno. Enfocado tanto como en temas de patrimonio cultural y natural de Chile, como en expediciones de montaña. En sus obras busca la intimidad y el contacto directo con el espectador al momento de contar una historia, poniendo al frente la realidad del tema que narra, ya sean expediciones de montañismo, historias de pueblos originarios o conflictos medio-ambientales. Es escalador profesional, amante del esquí y el montañismo, por lo que está en la búsqueda constante de el encuentro de estos dos mundos a través del documental, creando así una atmósfera única entre deporte y narrativa documental.
